Priority Repairers Network
(Also known as Recommended Repairers)

All repairs to your car which result in a claim, will be carried out by a Royal & SunAlliance Motability Priority Repairer (unless otherwise agreed). The benefits of using one of our repairers are:

Free collection and return of your vehicle

No need to provide any estimates.

All repairs completed to the highest standard and subject to a lifetime guarantee on workmanship.

Vehicle cleaned prior to its return

To keep you mobile, our repairers will make a courtesy car available to you while your vehicle is being repaired (typically these courtesy cars are standard models, e.g. Fiesta, Corsa)*

Insurance cover for courtesy cars supplied by
Royal & SunAlliance Motability Priority Repairers is automatically provided at no extra cost

Royal & SunAlliance Motability will arrange to inspect and authorise repairs to the vehicle. Before repairs are undertaken, you will be required to pay the appropriate excess to the repairer. The balance of the repairer's account will be paid direct to the garage

If the vehicle is damaged beyond economic repair Motability Operations will be informed and you will still be required to pay an excess to them.

When a vehicle is damaged beyond economic repair, or where a vehicle is stolen and not recovered, a courtesy car cannot be provided by Royal & SunAlliance Motability's network of Priority Repairers. This will also be the case should you choose to take your vehicle to a repairer of your own choice rather than one of our Priority Repairers. In some circumstances it may be possible to provide another vehicle or alternative methods of transport. Please contact us to discuss these options on 0500 373737.

* A 'Courtesy Car' is any vehicle that is provided to you by a Royal & SunAlliance Motability Priority Repairer, whilst your car is being repaired .

Are your tyres damaged?

If your tyres have been damaged as a result of an accident or have been stolen please call Royal & SunAlliance Motability Claims Department on Freephone number 0500 373737.

Does your windscreen or glass need repairing/replacing?

Your vehicle cover includes damage to the windscreen and windows. In the event of such damage contact Glass Helpline on Freephone number 0500 355355.

If you contact the Glass Helpline number above, the windscreen/windows will be replaced free of charge.

If you use any repairer other than the one recommended by the Glass Helpline, you will have to pay £75 towards the cost of replacement or repairs. The £75 excess also applies if your sunroof has been damaged regardless of who repairs/replaces it.

Please make sure you are able to produce your current Certificate of Motor Insurance to the glass repairer before repairs commence.
